Garden of Eatin’
Thursday, May 3rd, 2007About 2 weeks ago I planted my very first garden in a little empty patch of flower bed. Took a whole day to till it up, mix in soil, etc. and I planted one tomato plant and two types of seeds. The tomato plant, Rufus, appears to be doing well, but he has some little tiny holes in his leaves. Gonna hit ye olde Internet to see if I can figure out what’s gnawing on him.
The seeds I planted are cucumbers (Burpee Hybrid II) and haricot verts (French filet beans). I’ve never planted seeds before, so I didn’t know what to expect. But lo and behold, I have little seedlings now! More updates as the weeks go on…
